Jay Hochstetler

Jay is starting his first season coaching with Academy.

 

Jay grew up in the South Suburbs of Chicago where he played club throughout high school for Ultimate Volleyball Club and Southwest Chi Town VBC. He played in high school as well for Marian Catholic High School where he was 3 year starter and two time MVP.

 

After high school, Jay attended the University of Kentucky where he played all 4 years for UK’s collegiate club team. He was 2nd team All Conference and 2nd Team Division 1-AA All Nationals as a senior. 

 

Outside of volleyball, Jay is heavily involved in the horse racing industry and operates one of the top racing stable’s in Indiana most often racing at Hoosier Park in Anderson, IN.
