Haley Instenes joins the Academy Volleyball Club for his third season as a coach after spending the last four seasons at Lewis University where she played for the Flyers.
Prior to her placement with 18 Adidas, Haley has spent most of her time with the 16s age group as a head coach. In 2022-23 she led the 16 Blue roster to one of the best seasons the club has season, with multiple wins at the 16 Premier and Open level.
A graduate and standout from Franklin Central High School, Haley Sobieralski was a career athlete at Lewis University. During her career, she led the Flyers to the longest active top ranked program in NCAA Division II during the 2021 season. In 2018 the Flyers were a final four team in the NCAA tournament, where they also won regionals to advance.
She currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attend IUPUI in graduate school. During her time at Lewis, she graduated with a Bachelors degree in psychology.
