Eric Bulmahn proudly begins his 22nd season coaching volleyball athletes in Central Indiana and his 2nd at The Academy. In that time, Coach Bulmahn has prepared nearly 120 athletes for their collegiate career through club volleyball where they have gone on to become All-Americans, USA Junior National team members, and Gatorade Player of the Year. His club teams also prove to be successful with 13 of them ending up being ranked in the top 25 in the United States. 

Upon the end of Eric’s successful Ball State career as a middle, he began his coaching career as an assistant to Don Shondell for Ball State’s Men’s Team. Coach Bulmahn joined the high school coaching ranks in 2014 at Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, IN. His 4A teams have won 2 Sectional Championships and are a consistent top 25 team in the state. 

Eric brings a wealth of experience have coached 18 years of Circle City’s top teams, and most recently, he was the Club Director of Vison and Municiana Indy. 

Eric’s personal life is focused around his daughters, Jaclyn, Victoria, and Cecilia and his wife, Monica. Eric actually met his wife while she was playing at IUPUI for former Ball State teammate, Tom Pingel. Eric is the owner of Partner Intelligence, a business intelligence consulting firm.
