Elysa is from Metamora, IL where she graduated from Metamora Township High School in 2016. She played volleyball all year round from school season, to club at Illini Elite, to the next year of school since she was in 6th grade. She then continued her academic and athletic career at Lincoln College where she was a part of two honor societies and obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration with the Latin Academic Honor, Cum Laude in 2020.
As a player, Elysa played as a middle for 8 years and right side for 3 years. In college, she was an NAIA Scholar Athlete and was awarded Honorable Mention twice. She has coached in Bloomington, IL at Illini Elite for 5 years at a variety of ages where one of her 16U teams won nationals.
In February of 2021 she moved to Indianapolis where she currently works at Cork Medical as a Billing Specialist and a Facility Collector. Elysa is a dog mom to two doodles and loves doing anything with them in her free time.
