Chris Underwood has been coaching at multiple levels for more than 20 years, and he’s back for his sixth season at The Academy. He has coached Elite teams at ages 14 – 18 for The Academy.
Chris was also previously at Munciana Volleyball Club, where he coached 16, 17, and 18 National teams 2013-15. Prior to that, Chris coached 7th and 8th grade teams at Greenfield-Central (Ind.) Junior High School.
Chris served as the assistant coach at Knightstown (Ind.) High School for nine years and served as the Varsity coach for one season.
Chris attended Hanover College before graduating with a degree in athletic training from Ball State University. Chris is a Home Health Specialist for Kindred at Home, and lives in Greenfield with his wife and fellow coach, Carrie. They have two children: Drew and Allie.
