Ashaun joins The Academy Volleyball Club as an Assistant Coach for the 18 Black. Starting his coaching career with Boiler Juniors 12U and 15U, and following, he coached 15U girls at The Academy Grand Park and Munciana Volleyball Club.
This past year, Ashaun started a high school boys volleyball program at McCutcheon High School to help grow the sport and finished with a record of 10-17. Ashaun will enter his first season as the next Head Coach of Wabash College in Crawfordsville.
May of 2023, Ashaun graduated with his master’s degree from Ball State University in Sport Administration. Ashaun is a native of Southside Chicago and now resides in Lafayette, where he first picked up his love for volleyball a decade ago. In his spare time, Ashaun is cheering on the White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Tennessee Football, and Purdue Volleyball and Basketball.
