Andrew Kroger was named head coach of the IUPUI volleyball program in June 2023 and brings 12 years of coaching experience to the Jaguars’ sidelines. Kroger, a Cincinnati-native, brings deep Midwest ties to the IUPUI program, along with winning experience at his every stop. 

Kroger joined the Jaguars after serving as an assistant coach at Ohio University during the 2022 season. During his lone season at Ohio, the Bobcats recorded a 20-12 overall record and 13-5 mark in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Bobcats boasted a pair of All-MAC performers and three individuals who were named Academic All-District. Another OU student-athlete was named to the MAC’s All-Freshman Team at season’s end. 
 
Kroger brings extensive Division I coaching experience including a one-year stint as the interim head coach for the University of North Alabama and seven years at La Salle. At La Salle, Kroger started as an assistant coach in 2014 and was eventually promoted to head coach in 2019. He led the La Salle program to the 2019 National Invitational Volleyball Championship, which was the first post-season appearance in program history. He went 20-17 in two seasons leading the Explorers 
 
While at La Salle, Kroger had three players named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team with another student-athlete earning A-10 Rookie of the Week honors. He also helped lead the Explorers to their highest Atlantic 10 winning percentage in program history in 2017. Shortly after COVID-19, La Salle dropped its volleyball program, along with six other sports.

He later guided North Alabama as interim head coach for the 2021 season. 
 
Kroger is a graduate of Xavier University and began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Villanova in 2011, where he spent three seasons.
