Bethany Dayton
Assistant Coach, 16 Open Yeti

Coach Bethany Dayton is returning for her 6th year at The Academy and her 4th season coaching the 16-1 Open Yeti team. She loves coaching this age group due to its competitive atmosphere and the excitement for athletes preparing to play at the next level. She is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the court, focusing on teamwork, resilience, and guiding athletes through the recruitment process.
Before coaching, Bethany played four years of varsity volleyball at Lawrence North High School, where she was an integral part of the first sectional championship team in 40 years. She went on to play Division I volleyball at Loyola University Chicago, contributing to back-to-back conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances.
Off the court, Bethany is a Registered Pediatric Oncology Nurse for a Stem Cell Transplant unit. She enjoys spending time with her Mini Goldendoodle, Bentley, and traveling on her off weekends!
