Anna Darling
Head Coach, 15 Elite Copperheads
Anna Darling is entering her fourth year of coaching and brings a passion for both science and sport to The Academy. Born and raised in Fishers, Indiana, Anna attended Hamilton Southeastern High School from 2016–2020 before earning her degree in Genetics from Purdue University in 2024. She now works for a small CDMO that produces viral vectors used in gene therapy—combining her love of science with work that makes a real-world impact.
Outside of coaching, Anna enjoys spending time outdoors (as long as it’s not too hot or cold), exploring new restaurants with friends, and relaxing with a good show or movie. She’s currently rewatching Gilmore Girls and making her way through the original Star Wars trilogy for the first time. Anna lives with her two dogs—a golden doodle and a golden retriever who are half-siblings—and loves sharing her energy, curiosity, and love for teamwork with the athletes she coaches.
