This is Alyssa Zirnheld’s first season coaching club volleyball with
the Academy. Alyssa is currently in her second year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the University of Indianapolis Women’s Volleyball program while attaining a Masters Degree in Sport Management.
Prior to moving to Indianapolis, Alyssa was a member of the
Mercyhurst University Division II Women’s Volleyball team where
she competed as an Outside Hitter racking up 753 kills and 550 digs over her career. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science.
Alyssa is a native of Buffalo, New York where she was a member of
the 17 time State Championship Varsity Volleyball squad at St.
Mary’s of Lancaster High School and played club volleyball for
Niagara Frontier.
