The Academy Volleyball Club continues to establish itself as a forerunner for volleyball in the Midwest by announcing a partnership with Indy Ignite, the newest team in the Pro Volleyball Federation. The Academy Volleyball Club will be the official training and practice home of Indy Ignite, providing state of the art facilities. This collaboration combines the strengths of both brands and will elevate the fan and player experience.
“We are extremely excited about entering into this partnership with Indy Ignite.” said Travis Fuller, Director of Volleyball Operations at The Academy Volleyball Club. “By working together, we are growing the volleyball footprint in Indiana and providing significant resources to the community. We are looking forward to having two great programs training under the same roof.”
“There’s nothing more important to us than giving our players the tools they need to perform their best all season and The Academy is a great partner to help us meet that goal,” said Mary Kay Huse, President and General Manager of Indy Ignite. “We are thrilled to bring them into the growing Indy Ignite family.”
This partnership will kick off with facility renovations being completed by December 1, 2024. The inaugural season for Indy Ignite will begin January 2025.
