Why BWI?
The Boys Winter Invitational in it’s inaugural season welcomed 215 teams to compete at the highest level. From constant Power Pool dominance to dramatic championship matches.
Feel The Power
The Elite divisions feature the BEST teams the tournament has to offer. Teams will be seeded in Power Pools and announced based on your finish and season to that point. Power Pools allow a dominant start to the weekend and constant battles for climbing the ladder. Pressured situations and explosive matches fill this three day weekend.
The Elite division is only offered to the top TWO teams of your clubs (historically Open and Premier level teams).
The field of 64 teams will have the top 16 teams seeded in the elite power pools, where the remaining 48 will need to climb their way up into the elite bracket. Teams that remain in the top 16 after five matches, will crossover with the power pool teams in the Elite bracket. The elite division will NOT exceed 64 teams.
Power Pool teams will be seeded and invited from OUTSIDE influence. This includes collegiate coaches and directors who may not be involved with the event.
The BWI has no governing body affiliation, meaning we will accept teams who participate in both USAV or AAU events. Coaches and rosters just need to follow the guidelines of their respective national championship rulings.

The Boys Winter Invitational will feature an extremely unique Flow Chart.
The Flow Chart is still in being finalized. The Elite division will feature 16 teams in the power pools and will compete in two days of power competition before crossing over with the non-power pool teams.
